When a leading health system in New York City faced critical staffing challenges within its OB-GYN department, leadership needed a solution to ensure consistent coverage within its labor and delivery unit. Tasked with stabilizing the unit in addition to building a full and separate OB hospitalist team, leadership engaged help from the Medicus Transition Program to ensure continuity and quality patient care.
