Emergency Medicine APP Coverage on Long Island, NY

Medicus is partnering with a facility in Long Island, New York, with an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide short-term locum Emergency Medicine coverage.

Opportunity Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3-4 days per week, some weekend coverage
• No call required
• Multiple locations
• Daily Volume: 50 patients during busy summer months
• Cases: Procedures, cuts, fish hooks, managing x-rays, stabilizing and redirecting serious injury
• Support Staff: MDs and APPs, 1:4 ratio
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & lodging
