Emergency Medicine APP Opportunity in New York

Medicus is partnering with a hospital in central New York, offering a long-term opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a dedicated Emergency Medicine team.

Position Highlights:

• Flexible Scheduling: 4-6 shifts per month, 7p-7a, no call shifts
• Long-Term: Ongoing coverage available
• Daily Census: 8-21 patients
• Annual Volume: 10,000
• Facility: 7 ED rooms
• Procedures: Resuscitation, intubation (including surgical airways), ventilator management, pressor agents, sedation, and interpreting blood gases
• Independent Work: Provide solo coverage on the ER and HM floor
• Support Staff: 2 RNs, LPN, respiratory therapist, supervising RN
• EMR: MedHost
• Board Certification: Required
