Medicus is collaborating with a medical center in southern California that has an opportunity for a skilled Hematologist Oncologist to assist with locum coverage.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30a-5:30p
- Call: Weeknight and 24-hour weekend call shifts
- Setting: Outpatient chemotherapy and infusion center
- Patient Volume: 15-21 per day, split between MD and NP
- Duties: All aspects of diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of hematology oncology patients
- Infusion Center Services: Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood/platelet transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotic therapy, rheumatoid arthritis injections, and therapeutic phlebotomies
- Support Staff: NP, RNs, MAs, front office clerks
- EMR: iKnowMed and Cerner
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
- Paid travel & expenses
