24-Hour General Surgery Call Coverage in Southwestern ND

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in southwestern North Dakota that has an opening for a General Surgeon to provide locum coverage.

Opening Overview:

• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
• Level IV trauma
• Setting: Clinic and OR
• Daily Volume: 15 patients, 0-5 surgeries
• Required Procedures: Abdominal, endoscopy, liver, stomach, gallbladder, appendix, colon, spleen, and laparoscopy
• Preferred Procedures: Pediatrics, thyroid, pulmonary, vascular
• Must be available for phone consults, admissions and rounding on GS patients
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, attend a rodeo or county fair, fish or paddle in a peaceful reservoir, and browse antique shops and artisan markets.
