A medical center in Georgia has a great Advanced Psychiatric Academic position at one of the country's top 5 largest Psychiatry programs. Join a prestigious group of educators, working a 70% teaching and 30% direct patient care schedule.

Academic Educator Details: 

• 70% academic, 30 % patient care position
• Didactic lectures, problem-based learning, and designing a new curriculum
• Collaborate with other specialty educators - report to department & vice dean of education
• Associate or Assistant Professor appointment
• 250-260 medical students per class
• Sample Schedule:
  • 3x 1/2 days of clinic per week (consults or ER)
  • 2x 1/2 days of small groups
  • 1/2 day of didactics
  • 4x 1/2 days of curriculum
• Rounding in AM with residents, no overnight call
• EMR: Cerner
• Will consider non-teaching roles at one of the 5 state hospitals the University partners with
