Cardiac Anesthesiology Opening in Burlington, VT - 1:6 Call Rotation

A leading medical center in Burlington, Vermont, has an opening for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to provide locum coverage.

About the Opening:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p, one late day per week when on cardiac call
• 1:6 beeper call rotation
• Volume: 1-2 procedures per day
• Procedures: General anesthesia, intubation, IV placement, spinal, epidural for post-op pain (not OB), arterial line, central line, pulmonary artery catheter placement, and diagnostic TEE
• Scope of Practice: On and off-pump CABG, valve repair and replacement, cath lab, vascular procedures, no destination VADS or transplants
• Facility: Level I Trauma Center
• Support Staff: Anesthesia techs, patient support assistants, faculty anesthesiologist, charge anesthesiologist
• Some solo work, some supervision of anesthesia residents, CRNA and AA mid-level supervision possible
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses
