Medicus has partnered with a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, that has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide Cardiovascular Critical Care locum coverage.


About the Opening:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night and weekend shifts, with the possibility of rotating to days or swing shifts
  • No call requirement
  • Patient Volume: 10-15
  • Setting: Cardiovascular Medical ICU
  • Case Types: All types of cardiovascular medicine, STEMI, heart failure, etc.
  • Skills Needed: Central line placements, intubations, ECMO
  • Support Staff: 1 MD in-unit during the day, 1 MD on call at night
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses
