Critical Care Physician Coverage in Western MI | 12-Hour Shifts

Medicus has partnered with a Level II Trauma hospital in western Michigan that has an opening for a skilled Critical Care Physician to assist their team short-term.

About the Opening:

• Schedule: 6a-6p
• No call
• Facility: Level II Trauma, open ICU, intensivist unit H2
• Practice Setting: Medical, surgical, trauma
• ICU Volume: 8-12 patients per day
• Inpatient Volume: 0-1 inpatients (non-ICU) per day
• Ventilation management required
• Required Insertions: Central line, arterial line, PA catheter
• Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps Required: Lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, paracentesis
• Additional Required Procedures: Chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, temporary pacemaker, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
• Support Staff: APPs, other MDs
• PA, NP, and resident supervision required
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
