Opportunity Details
Medicus is collaborating with a hospital 30 minutes from Boston, Massachusetts, with an opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum night coverage.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 10p-6a, 3-4 shifts per month
- No call required
- Level III Trauma
- Annual Volume: 65k+ patients
- Daily Volume: 160 patients total, 13-16 per provider per shift
- Patient Population: Some underserved and at-risk patients
- Admission Rate: 20%
- Will not handle codes, airways, etc.
- Support Staff: Additional MD, independent APPs, full subspecialty support
- EMR: Meditech
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
- Paid travel & exenses
