Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity 30 Minutes from Boston, MA

Medicus is collaborating with a hospital 30 minutes from Boston, Massachusetts, with an opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum night coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 10p-6a, 3-4 shifts per month
• No call required
• Level III Trauma
• Annual Volume: 65k+ patients
• Daily Volume: 160 patients total, 13-16 per provider per shift
• Patient Population: Some underserved and at-risk patients
• Admission Rate: 20%
• Will not handle codes, airways, etc.
• Support Staff: Additional MD, independent APPs, full subspecialty support
• EMR: Meditech
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & exenses
