A hospital in western Kentucky has an opportunity for a General Surgeon to provide locum coverage.
Opportunity Overview:
- Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
- 12 ORs
- Required Procedures: central line insertion, chest tube insertion, vascular access devices, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, colon/small bowel
- Daily Volume: 1-3 surgical cases and 2-4 consults
- Patient Population: Peds to geriatrics
- Team of 3 general surgeons
- EMR: Epic
- Board certification required
- Paid travel & expenses
