Hematology Oncology Locum Opening in Eastern WV

An established hospital in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia has an opening for a Hematologist/Oncologist to provide hospital rounding and clinic coverage.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8a-4:30 p, 4 days per week in clinic, with 1 day reserved for administrative tasks
• On-Call: 1 week per month
• Volume: 15 patients per day
• Setting: Outpatient
• Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive examination and treatment planning for patients with both malignant and benign hematology/oncology conditions, complete timely progress notes for each patient, and perform inpatient consultations and hospital rounding during the assigned on-call week
• EMR: Epic
• Team of 3 MDs
• Not required to supervise APPs
• Paid travel, lodging, & expenses
