Hospital Medicine Locum Tenens Opportunity in Northeastern WV

A hospital in northeastern West Virginia has an opportunity for a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to provide locum tenens hospitalist coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 12-hour day and night shifts
• 25 beds
• Daily Census: 21-22 patients, 4 ICU patients max
• Shared patients
• Diverse adult patient population
• Duties: Manage full spectrum of adult IP medical cases, supervise family medicine residents, and respond to codes and rapid response
• Procedures Required: RSI, intubation, thoracentesis, paracentesis, midline and central line placement, arterial line placement
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel and expenses
