Hospitalist Needed in Northern Maine

Optimum has partnered with a Medical Center in northern Maine seeking a full-time Hospitalist physician to join their team. Work at an award-winning, fully accredited, 49-bed acute care hospital on the border of New Brunswick, Canada.

In the winter, attend one of the longest sled dog races, New England's northernmost downhill ski area, or visit the multiple national parks. In the warmer months, attend town festivals, fishing derbies in the St. John River, and dine outside at the local restaurants.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 24-hour shifts -8a-6p in hospital, the remainder on-call -6-8 shifts per month
• Daily volume: 14 patients
• Must be comfortable with ICU and ventilated patients
• APP support
• Requirements: Board-certified/board-eligible
