Inpatient or Outpatient Internal Medicine Federal Assignment in Northwestern NM

Medicus has partnered with a federal facility in northwestern New Mexico that has a contract assignment for an Internal Medicine Physician to assist their team in an inpatient or outpatient setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• No call required
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

Inpatient Details:

• Patient Census: 5-14 inpatients, 1-5 admits per shift
• Procedures: Paras, thoras, central lines
• Duties: Admissions, discharges, transfers, rounding, consults, ICU

Outpatient Details:

•  1-2 admin half days scheduled per week
• Patient Volume: 5-7 patients per clinic half-day
• Duties: Primary care, plan of continuity of care, treadmill testing, ECG reading, hospital internal medicine consults
