Medicus is proud to partner with a leading hospital 15 minutes from Des Moines, Iowa, that has an opportunity for a Psychiatrist to provide short-term locum inpatient coverage.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• Call Requirement: In-house/beeper, one weekend per month
• Patient Census: 13-16 per day
• Patient Ages: Adult
• Case Types: Bipolar, MDD, psychosis, PTSD, anxiety, personality disorders, and SI/HI
• Support Staff: Social worker, recreational therapist, psych techs, RN/LPNs, CMO, and resident physicians/medical student
• Dictation: Dragon
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & expenses
