Medicus has partnered with a reputable hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, that has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage in their Cardiac Surgery Stepdown Unit.


About the Opening:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, specific dates
  • No call shifts required
  • Patient Population: High acuity
  • Duties: Care coordination
  • Must be proficient in pacemaker management
  • Procedures: Removing pacing wires, chest tubes, drains, surgical incision care
  • Support Staff: Cardiac surgeon
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses
