A hospital in northeastern North Carolina has an opportunity for a skilled General Surgeon to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 24-hour night and weekend call, specific dates
• Setting: Inpatient
• Patient Census: 7-8 per day
• Required Procedures: Appendectomy, strangulated hernias, cholecystectomy, I&Ds, and emergency procedures
• Will not be required to respond to codes
• 15-bed ED, 10-bed ICU
• EMR: Epic (HealthSpan)
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
