Locum Hematology Oncology Opportunity in North-Central Iowa

An established medical center in north-central Iowa has an opening for a Hematologist-Oncologist to provide locum coverage.

Opening Details:

• Level III trauma
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
• In-house call, 1:4
• 50% Hem/ 50% Onc
• Required Procedures: Management of VAD/CV catheters & intrathecal chemo
• Required Duties: Participation on a tumor board, order tests, order images, prescribes
• Patient Population: Adults & geriatric
• Daily Volume: 12-16 patients
• Nurse administers chemo according to the orders from the physician
• 2 radiation oncologists + 4 APPs
• EMR: Mosaiq
• Board certification required
• Paid travel and lodging
