Locum Pathology Opening in Ft. Lauderdale, FL - 1:5 Rotating Call

Medicus is working with a hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, with an opening for a skilled Pathologist to provide locum coverage.

Opening Highlights:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts
• 1:5 rotating call during evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Volume: 25-30 reads per day
• Setting: Hospital-based pathology lab
• Clinical Lab Responsibilities: Electrophoresis pathology interpretation and hematology differential review
• Anatomical Pathology Procedures: Surgical, GI, GU, neuropathology, hematopathology (bone marrow, lymph nodes), interpretation of bone marrow aspirate/bx, cytology
• Clinical Pathology Procedures: hematology, microbiology, chemistry/serology, blood bank
• Supervision of other providers required
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
