Medicus is collaborating with a facility in southeastern Virginia that has an opening for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide locum coverage.
About the Opening:
- Flexible Schedule: Monday-Friday, 25-30 hours per week
- No call requirement
- Average Daily Census: 25 patient encounters, 114 total patients
- Average Length of Stay: 6-9 months
- Patient Population: Children & adolescents with significant trauma experience
- Duties: Medication management and case supervision
- Support Staff: Psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and family medicine physician
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
