Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in northwestern Georgia that has an opportunity for a Critical Care physician to provide locum coverage.
Opportunity Details:
- Schedule: 7a-7p
- Beeper Call Shifts: 7p-7a
- Daily Volume: 10 patients, 4-5 admissions
- 8-bed ICU
- Duties: Admissions, cross cover, and pulmonary consults
- Required Procedures: Tracheal intubation, central lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, dialysis catheter, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, conscious sedation, bronchoscopy
- Support Staff: Hospitalists, ER MD, respiratory therapists, and ICU nursing
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
