Medicus has partnered with hospitals one hour from Chicago, Illinois, that have openings for a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage.
Opening Highlights:
- Level II Trauma Center
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (7a-5p)
- No call requirement
- Setting: Inpatient
- Patient Census: 15 per day, 5-7 new consults
- Duties: Rounding on new and remaining patients, plan discharges, continue care plans, prep for procedures, etc.
- Support Staff: GI Hospitalist
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
