Medicus has partnered with a medical center in St. Louis, Missouri, with an opening for a Hematologist Oncologist to provide locum tenens coverage.
About the Opening:
- Schedule: 12-hour inpatient shifts or 4 to 8-hour outpatient shifts
- Average Inpatient Volume: 5
- Average Outpatient Volume: 10-20
- Split hematology and medical oncology case load
- Duties: Chemotherapy supervision/orders, bone marrow biopsies/aspirations, management of oncologic emergencies, and genetic testing/ counseling coordination
- Support Staff: Oncology pharmacist, oncology RN, nurse navigator
- Available Resources: On-site infusion center & radiation therapy
- Will supervise APPs
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
