Medicus has partnered with a hospital in southern Georgia that has an opening for a skilled Hospitalist to provide locum coverage.

This opportunity offers a manageable patient census, a mix of acuity, and strong access to specialty support in a collaborative care environment.

About the Opening:

• Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• No call requirement
• 57 beds
• Daily Census: 18 patients, ~4 admissions/consults per provider
• Mixed acuity patient population
• Will round in the open ICU
• Vent management required
• Specialty Support Staff: Critical care, cardiology, surgery, orthopedics, urology, nephrology, tele-ID, tele-psych, and tele-neurology
• EMR: Meditech
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
