A hospital in eastern North Carolina has an opening for an OB Hospitalist to provide 24-hour locum tenens coverage.
Opportunity Overview:
- Schedule: 24-hour shifts
- Setting: Inpatient
- Average Daily Volume: 50 patients
- Average Daily Admissions: 10 per day, 5 per night
- Average Monthly Surgical Cases: 10 per surgeon
- Duties: ED consults, GYN service, emergent GYN surgeries, and labor and delivery
- Procedures Required: Cesarean delivery, D&C (obstetric and gynecologic), diagnostic and operative laparoscopy, urgent and emergent gynecologic cases
- Team Structure: 27 MDs, 9 APPs
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
