Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in central New York that has an opening for a Pathologist to provide locum coverage.
About the Opening:
- Level III Trauma facility
- Schedule: 9-hour day shifts
- No call requirement
- Annual Volume: 13k surgical specimens and 3k cytology specimens
- Responsible for grossing your own specimens and cutting your own frozen sections
- Required Skills: Surgical pathology and cytology
- Team Structure: 4 pathologists, 5 histotechnologists, 1 pathology assistant, 2 cystotechnologists
- EMR: Epic/Beaker
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
