Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in central New York that has an opening for a Pathologist to provide locum coverage.

About the Opening:

• Level III Trauma facility
• Schedule: 9-hour day shifts
• No call requirement
• Annual Volume: 13k surgical specimens and 3k cytology specimens
• Responsible for grossing your own specimens and cutting your own frozen sections
• Required Skills: Surgical pathology and cytology
• Team Structure: 4 pathologists, 5 histotechnologists, 1 pathology assistant, 2 cystotechnologists
• EMR: Epic/Beaker
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
