Opportunity Details
Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in western North Dakota with an opening for a Pediatrician to assist with locum tenens coverage.
About the Opening:
- Schedule: 7x 24-hour call shifts per month
- Level II Nursery
- Daily Volume: 2-3 patients
- Duties: Attend vaginal deliveries if requested, attend all scheduled and emergent c-sections, admit/discharge newborns, admit/care for pediatric patients, and perform circumcisions
- Required Procedures: Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation/intubations/UVC, and lumbar punctures
- Support Staff: Nurses, anesthesia, OB/GYNs, respiratory therapists, and local pediatricians
- EMR: Meditech
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
- Paid travel & expenses
