Medical Director Contract Assignment in Southwestern UT

Medicus has partnered with a federal facility in southwestern Utah with a contract assignment for a Medical Director to assist their team.

About the Assignment:

• Schedule: 8-hour days shifts, but must be available to provide 24/7 medical direction
• Setting: Pre-hospital EMS care in outdoor environments
• Annual Volume: ~300 calls for service, growing volume
• Will lead and oversee EMS team and program
• Team Structure: EMS providers, including EMTs, Advanced EMTs, and Paramedics
• Preferred Experience: 5+ years of medical direction experience, 5+ years of wilderness medicine experience, 5+ years of search and rescue experience
• Must be board-certified in emergency medicine (ABEM, AOBEM, or BCEM)
• Paid travel & expenses
