Medical Officer of the Day Contract Assignment in Southwestern OK

Medicus has partnered with a facility in southwestern Oklahoma with a contract assignment for a Medical Officer of the Day to assist their team.

About the Assignment:

• Schedule: 8p-8a, 7 on/7 off
• Patient Census: 12 per night, 2-3 admits per week
• Patient Population: All ages
• Cases: Admission/discharge, med-surg, telemetry, acute medicine, and mental health patients
• 85% ER cases, 15% hospitalist cases
• Support Staff: Lab, pharmacy & radiology technicians, RNs, LPNs, admitting staff, social workers/case managers, mental health physician, etc.
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, hike granite peaks and prairie trails in a vast wildlife refuge, spot roaming bison and longhorns in their natural habitat, and explore Native American history at a cultural center.
