Medicus has partnered with facilities located one hour from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with openings for a Medical Oncologist to provide locum tenens coverage.
Opening Overview:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
- Rotating weekend call coverage
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
- Daily Inpatient Volume: 2 patients
- Daily Outpatient Volume: 15-20 patients
- Case Types: 85% oncology and 15% hematology
- Duties: Chemotherapy, management of oncologic emergencies, round on inpatients, supervise APPs, conduct outpatient consults and follow-ups, and participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case reviews
- Support Staff: 3 physicians, 2 APPs, 1 RN, oncology pharmacist, nurse navigator, radiation therapists, palliative support, etc.
- Must be board-certified
- BLS required
- Paid travel & expenses
