Opportunity Details
Medicus has partnered with a hospital on the coast of North Carolina with a contract assignment for a Neonatologist to assist their team.
Assignment Details:
- Level IIB NICU
- Schedule: 7 on/7 off
- Call Shifts: Weeknights (3p-7a) or weekends (11a-7a)
- Required Procedures: Sedation, endotracheal intubation, routine and arterial phlebotomy, central/arterial/umbilical line placement, lumbar puncture, suprapubic bladder tap, bladder catheterization, needle thoracentesis, chest tube placement, and circumcision
- Will request and interpret labs, ECGs, radiographic studies, etc.
- Outpatient well-baby visits and NICU follow-ups required
- Will teach residents and students
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
- Paid travel & expenses
