Neurocritical Care APP Position 30 Minutes from Boston, MA | Level I Trauma

Optimum is partnering with a leading medical center 30 minutes from Boston, Massachusetts, that has an opening for a Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team.
With a three-day workweek and support from a dedicated team, this position is ideal for a skilled advanced practitioner looking to take the next step in their career.
Position Overview:
- Level I Trauma
- Schedule: 3x 13-hour shifts per week
- Rotate days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- 9-bed Neurosciences Critical Care Unit, expanding to 12 beds
- Duties: Patient history and physical exams, developing and executing diagnostic and treatment plans, interpreting lab work, imaging, and physiological data, and procedures
- Required Procedures: Central and arterial line placements
- Team Structure: 5 neurointensivists and 10 APPs
- Experience: 1+ years in critical care, ICU, or neurology
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
