Medicus is collaborating with a hospital 30 minutes from Denver, Colorado, that has an opening for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric consultation services.
Key Details:
- Setting: Inpatient, Emergency Room Trauma Level I
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
- On-Call Type: Beeper
- Duties: Consultation on psychiatric patients including medication orders or recommendations.
- Patient Population: Adult, Adolescent, Geriatric
- Census: Average of 2-4 new consults per day with follow-up for 6, totaling 10 per day
- EMR: Epic
- Required Certification: AANP Certified or equivalent psychiatric certification
- Experience: Must have acute care and consultation experience
- Travel: Paid travel & expenses
