Psychiatry Locum | 25-Minutes from Albany, NY

Medicus is honored to represent a leading hospital 25-minutes from Albany, New York, seeking a Psychiatrist to provide coverage in their Inpatient Crisis Unit.

Opportunity Details:

• 6+ months of inpatient coverage
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, no call shifts required
• Majority of adult patients with the occasional child/adolescent aged 5+
• Responsibilities: Face-to-face evaluations with patients in crisis & psychiatric consults on the med floor
• Patient Diagnosis: High Acuity child, adolescents, and adults with severe depression, anxiety, etc.
• Daily census: 10-12 patients
• Program structure: MD, NP, + full support
• Paid travel and expenses
• Must be board-certified
