At Medicus, everything we do is shaped by the communities we serve. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, our team came together to deliver holiday meals to those communities alongside organizations whose generosity reflects the values that guide us.

Sharing the Spirit of Thanksgiving

Across New Hampshire and Massachusetts, thousands of individuals depend on the compassion and support of nonprofit organizations like Lazarus House, which supports more than 2,000 guests each week, as well as the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter. From providing healthy meals and pantry items to offering safe emergency housing, their work helps people take the steps towards stability and well-being.

This Thanksgiving season, Medicus is proud to support the missions of these local organizations by helping to prepare and distribute holiday meal kits to hundreds of individuals and families. Ahead of the holiday, the opportunity to connect with our neighbors—and the dedicated teams who serve them year-round—serves as a meaningful reminder of what our core value, People First, Always, looks like in action. Our team feels thankful for the chance to give back and is inspired to keep making a positive impact in our community.

“Volunteering lets me connect with people and feel like I’m making a real impact in the community,” said Danielle Beegan, Corporate Trainer. “This Thanksgiving, giving my time felt like the right way to share some gratitude and do a little good!”

Carrying the Generosity Forward

Although Thanksgiving may be a single day, its message of gratitude and service is something we strive to carry with us long after the season ends. Our dedication to giving back continues throughout the year, and we remain committed to uplifting those around us in every way we can. By supporting local organizations and creating opportunities for our team to volunteer, we believe small acts of service can strengthen the communities we are proud to be part of.
