During this season of giving, the entire Medicus team came together to give back to nine charitable organizations. We’re proud to highlight a few nonprofits making a meaningful impact in their communities.
Advancing Possibilities in Children's Health
A leader in pediatric healthcare, Boston Children’s Hospital pushes the boundaries of what’s possible to give every kid a healthy future. Medicus teamed up with Boston Children's Hospital to support their virtual toy drive. This initiative gives every child the opportunity to feel the magic of the holidays. Helping Kids Be Kids
The Wonderfund is a nonprofit organization supporting over 50,000 children and teenagers in the Massachusetts foster care system, empowering better futures while embracing the wonder of being a kid. Medicus joined forces with Wonderfund and fulfilled the wish lists of 17 kids in foster care, making their holiday celebrations a little more magical. Helping kids be kids is Wonderfund’s mission, and they helped make the holidays brighter for 29,000 DCF kids this year. To learn more about the Wonderfund and how you can help, click here.
Doing the Most Good
In 2023, The Salvation Army helped 27.5 million people in the U.S. through food and shelter assistance, disaster relief, and other vital services at 6,401 centers nationwide. Medicus participated in their holiday giving program, providing gifts for four families. Through initiatives like the Angel Tree program, which brings new clothes and toys to 1 million children annually, The Salvation Army helps create lasting holiday memories.
