During the holiday season, moments of connection matter most. This year, the Medicus team came together to give back, engaging in meaningful experiences that reflected our values and deepened our ties to the communities we serve.
Making Spirits Bright
Salem Family Resources is a nonprofit that offers support programs such as playgroups, early learning services, and resource referrals to underserved and at-risk children and families. By meeting families where they are, the organization helps build stability and open new doors to opportunity.
Throughout the month of December, Medicus proudly partnered with Salem Family Resources to help bring magic back to the holiday season. Our team helped organize and distribute winter coats, hats, mittens, toys, and gift-wrapping supplies to local families. The experience was a reminder of how we can put people first by spreading a little extra kindness, warmth, and holiday cheer.
Helping Kids Be Kids
The Wonderfund is a nonprofit organization supporting more than 35,000 children and teens with open cases in the Massachusetts foster care system. By empowering courage and resilience, Wonderfund guides young people toward better futures while still preserving the wonder of childhood.
This year, Medicus had the opportunity to partner with Wonderfund once again to help make the holidays brighter in our local community. Together, members of our team fulfilled the wish lists of 21 kids and teens in foster care, providing more than 100 wrapped gifts along with essential toiletries. This experience reflected our commitment to deliver with heart in everything we do, and we were honored to spark some joy during the holidays.

These moments of giving reminded us of what this time of year is truly about: showing up for others with compassion, care, and purpose. We’re grateful for the chance to make a meaningful difference beyond just healthcare, and we look forward to continuing this commitment in the year ahead.
