Creating happy, healthy communities starts with stepping up for one another. To take that important step, Medicus partners with local organizations that are creating meaningful opportunities for children and families across New Hampshire. Whether it’s through collecting donations or investing our time in the community, we’re happy to be playing a role in helping build a better tomorrow.
Every Pair Has a Purpose
Hundreds of children and teens enter the United States foster care system each day, often with little more than the clothes on their backs. New Hampshire nonprofit, The Pass Along Project, helps ease that difficult transition for kids across the state by distributing kits that meet their immediate needs, complete with full outfits, shoes, and other essential items.
To support their mission, Medicus came together to donate new, gently used, and even worn-down shoes during our annual shoe drive. Pairs in good condition will be cleaned and given directly to local children and teens, while dirty and broken shoes will be recycled to generate funds for foster care programs. Whether transformed into vital funds or given directly to those who need them, every pair of shoes donated will leave an impact on the lives of foster kids in the community.

Making a Difference With Every Step
Strong families build strong communities, and Salem Family Resources, a local nonprofit, is dedicated to helping both thrive. Serving underserved and at-risk children and parents, the organization offers playgroups, early learning services, and resource referral programs that connect families with the support they need to build a solid foundation for the future.
To help further that mission, Medicus proudly participated in Salem Family Resources' inaugural Miles4Moms 5K race. Team members, joined by friends and families from around the area, ran or walked the course to support the organization's programs. Every dollar raised through the race's fundraising efforts will help Salem Family Resources continue providing the resources, guidance, and opportunities that empower families throughout the community.
