Threads of Kindness: How Medicus is Making a Difference This Spring

At Medicus, healthcare may be our industry, but people are our purpose. That purpose came to life this spring as Medicus Cares hosted its annual clothing drive in support of children and teens in our community, a tradition that reflects our ongoing commitment to putting people first, always.

Giving Clothes, Giving Confidence

Catie's Closet supports over 100,000 K-12 students across Massachusetts and New Hampshire each day by providing free clothing and basic necessities through its in-school closet program. During Medicus’ annual spring clothing drive, our team donated hundreds of clothing items to help advance the nonprofit’s mission, laying the foundation for local students to feel confident, valued, and ready to thrive in school, at home, and beyond.

Members of our team also visited the distribution center to personally deliver, sort, and organize the donations. The experience offered a powerful reminder of how even small acts of generosity can have a lasting impact on others’ lives.

"It was really special to be part of Catie’s Closet's mission to make sure kids of all ages—from babies to teenagers—are able to access new clothes that help them shine," said Stefanie Marsh, Operations Manager. "It was such a meaningful experience, and we all agreed we would do it again and again!"

Fueling Futures by Filling Closets

Our annual spring clothing drive is just one way that Medicus works to ensure that students in our community have access to the tools they need to succeed. By supporting Catie’s Closet each year, we are proud to play a small part in helping local children and teens grow, learn, and lead with confidence.
